Located near the intersection of Tanon Thalang and Tanon Phuket, Arun's Roti Restaurant, officially called 'Rahn Aharn Arun Pohchanah' has some great curries served with roti offering a choice of beef, chicken, goat or fish. Sweet roti, also called Thai Pancakes by most beach-side vendors, are available too.
Watch your roti being prepared in front of the shop, I took two but probably could have eaten three! The curry, I had the chicken this time, it was not 'too' spicy, well that is for me anyway, but you may disagree and the chicken was really tender. All this for a very cheap price that would not even buy you a can of soft-drink in some restaurants!
Around the walls of the restaurant are loads of photos and press cuttings proving just how good the place actually is! The restaurant has also been given a 'Clean Food Good Taste' award.
