Phuket Smart Bus

**COVID-19 update**
Please check their website for current operation times and prices.

Although I haven't had a chance to use this service myself I have heard a lot of people praising it. The buses run from Phuket Airport stopping at Thalang, Cherng Talay, Surin, Kamala, Patong, Karon, Kata and Rawai and offer a cheaper way to reach your hotel or just get from one beach to another.

On board you will find a USB charger, WiFi, CCTV for security, plus these buses are wheelchair friendly!

The first bus leaves the airport for Rawai (or Rawai to airport) at 6.00am and the last bus 20.15pm.

As of writing (August 2018) prices range from 50 baht to 170 baht depending on distance and all prices can be found on their website. Payment must be paid by Rabbit Card which can be purchased on board or in various shops around Phuket. One card is valid for one passenger. For more information about payment visit their website or go to https://phuketpay.com/en/home/. Rabbit cards can also be used for transport in other parts of Thailand.

From what I have observed the buses run to schedule and their website gives you a GPS tracking map to see where the buses are and also where they stop. Here are some screenshots so you can see how it works. **Bus stops / times  may change so always recheck with their website.**
