The Phuket Tourist Office recently moved to it's new location in Talang Road next to the Dragon Monument. It is worth the visit even if it is only to see the building itself which although newly built, retains the Sino-Portugese style of historic Phuket architecture.
At the top of the entrance steps is a beautiful mosaic floor depicting a lobster and starfish.
Inside is an information room where you can sit and relax as you browse through the many leaflets available, and the friendly staff are pleased to give you further information.
